Fairview Inn Sping Hill Sleep Inn Holiday Inn Express May 28,29, 2011 - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Master Batch and Mrs. Batch attended a seminar in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on May 27,28, 2011. President Choi talked about the ITF and the important role that it was playing in the world. That we only have one true Taekwon-Do as developed by General Choi. In my way of thinking, there is only one logical path of Taekwon-Do..........General Choi to Master Choi Jung Hwa. President Choi, Master Wheatley, Master Batch, and Mrs. Batch attended a dinner on Saturday evening as well as having a pleasant breakfast on Sunday morning before heading back to their respective cities. Master Batch and Mrs. Batch also stopped by to see Mr. Mark Murray and the Iron Mountain, Michigan students. May 2011 Mr. Mark Murray and students from the U.P. of Michigan will be traveling to Midland for a weekend of training with Master Batch and the Midland Taekwon-Do students. May 10 & 12 - Gup promotion testing March 25 & 26, 2011 - Step Sparring Seminar in Midland Master Terry Batch will be conducting a step sparring seminar in Midland for senior red belts and black belts. Master Batch will review step sparring from the Gup & Dan training pages provided to the Midland and U.P. of Michigan students. Step sparring will review & teach 3 step sparring, 2 step sparring, 1 step sparring, introduction to semi free, semi-free beginning (4) semi-free advanced (6) Black belts wil review all gup step sparring and also review and learn foot sparring and model sparring from the black belt training pages. Students from PA, U.P. of Michigan, Ohio will be attending Friday night = 6pm to 8pm - starting at 10th gup step sparring Saturday morning = regular Saturday morning class from 9am to 11am Saturday morning = 11am to noon continued training from Friday night Saturday noon = lunch provided by Master Batch Saturday afternoon = 1pm to 4pm finish up on foot and model sparring Contact Master Batch via email or phone if you have interest in attending February 2011 - Ohio Seminar Master Robert Wheatley will be teaching a seminar about the "Art of Taekwon-Do" Master Wheatley, Master Batch, Master Seszko and Professor Humesky will also be conducting a promotions testing. Several Black Belt students from Midland will be attending January 2011 - Seminar in U.P. of Michigan Master Batch and Mrs. Batch will be conducting a seminar in the U.P. of Michigan for Mr. Mark Murray. Master Batch will be reviewing 10th gup through 1st gup training pages. Master Batch will also review 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree black belt training pages. Mr. Murray and his group is one of the newest members to Batch Taekwon-Do and USITF organizations. 2010 News & Events Black Belt Promotion Testing - December 2010 Congratulations to Venkat Vaddamani promotion to 1st Degree Black Belt November 2010 Gup Belt Promotion Testing in Midland Jim Nesbitt Master Batch - In New Jersey for November 2010 Black Belt testing and Seminar November Mr. Nick Malefyt will be hosting Master Wheatley for a seminar and promotion testing. Master Batch will be sitting on the testing board along with Master Robert N. Wheatley. Several ranks of Black Belt will be testing for promotion from 1st Degree though 7th Degree. 40th Year Celebration of teaching Taekwon-Do Master Batch & Mrs. Batch celebrated their 40th year of teaching Taekwon-Do. The celebration was put together by Master & Mrs. Batch's daughter, son and student Chris Spiller. A surprise celebration was held at the Midland Community Center. Many guest were in attendance including Sarah Kajdan, Ryan Batch, Chris Spiller. Master Batch's family from Arizona, Nevada and Colorado were in attendance Master Batch & Mrs. Batch were also given a commissioned plaque recognizing the 40th year. Master Wheatley - In Midland for October 2010 Seminar October 22, 23, Master Wheately will be in Midland, Michigan Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm for 1st Degree Black Belts and above. Saturday morning 9am to 10am - Normal TKD morning class. Saturday morning 10am to Noon - Senior Black Belt Testing Saturday afternoon Noon to 1pm - Lunch provided by Master Batch. Saturday afternoon 1pm to 5pm - Seminar with Master Wheatley. Saturday evening - Dinner out at local restaurant. Many students were at the competition. Team Patterns were demonstrated by several different ranks. An excellent tournament - my congratulations to Mrs. VanZile and the staff. Black Belt Promotion Testing for July 2010 at Midland July 13, 2010 the following students were promoted 1st Degree = Mrs. Leslie Stuart, Ms. Elizabeth Stuart, Mr. Samir Gupa, Mr. Aaron Mealey Patterns from 10th gup through 1st gup were demonstrated Step sparring, Self-Defense, breaking, combinations and bag work were also demonstrated. 2nd Degree = Mr. Joe Ziettlow 6th Degree = Mr. Ray Murphy Mr. Murphy has been training for 28 years with Master Batch, since 1982. Mr. Murphy demonstrated Se Jong and Tong Il patterns as well as breaking 3 boards with left and right knees. Congratulation to all who achieved new ranks and ITF certification Master Batch - In New Jersey for 2010 seminar Master Batch and Mrs. Batch (V Dan) taught a seminar in New Jersey for Mr. Tony Parker (II Dan) About 40 students from New Jersey and Pennsylvania attend the seminar General Taekwon-Do knowledge was reviewed along with step sparring Also an introduction to Master Batch's "Brain Teasers" Master Batch - Seminar in Midland Master Batch taught a specialty seminar at the Midland Community Center Several groups of students from the U.P. of Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania were in attendance Master Batch seminar for Mr. Mark Murray from the U.P. of Michigan Several areas of TKD knowledge was reviewed with many questions being asked. This was the first time Master Batch & Mrs. Batch visited Mr. Mark Murray. Mr. Murray and his school are the newest members to the USITF & Batch Taekwon-Do Master Batch - Seminar In Midland Master Batch taught a seminar at the Midland Community Center for one of the newest schools to become members of the USITF. Mr. Mark Murray and a group of students from the U.P. of Michigan Mrs. VanZile and a group of students from Ohio also attended Mr. Chris Spiller drove in from Pennsylvania Master Batch in Ohio for Seminar Master Batch attended a specialty seminar taught by Master Wheatley in Ohio 2009 News & Events Master Batch & Mrs. Batch in Ireland Master Batch & Mrs. Batch attended the Emerald Cup tournament & seminar held in Dublin, Ireland. The USA, England, Ireland were represented. Master Wheatley conducted a seminar the next day after the tournament. Each of the senior black belts had an opportunity to teach different groups of students.
